Port Dickson is a small sea side town 100 km south of Kuala Lumpur (60 km from the airport) where you still can feel the laid back attitude of its people (already lost in the big towns) and be close to their daily way of life. On weekends and during public holidays it gets pretty busy as locals from the capital and neighbouring areas ‘makan angin’ relax, rejuvenate and recharge themselves in PD - as it is affectionately called by the locals.
The property, clean and well maintained, is part of a major apartment complex, right at the sea, facing the Straits of Malacca, attached to the Corus Paradise Hotel, located 3 km from PD town.

It is not possible to cook in the kitchen yet you may worm up your food in the micro. Try the amazing variety of the local cuisine (Malay, Chinese, Indien) in the local restaurants where the food is cheap therefore no need to bother yourself with cooking. For breakfast you can try the local ‘roti canai’ or nasi lemak’ or we supply you with tea and coffee, various breads and Danish pastry or French croissant (at additional costs) which you may serve oven-fresh. You may have your lunch in the hotel or elsewhere. For dinner there is the choice of 3 restaurants in walking distance (15 min). Not all restaurants sell beer!
From the airport to PD take a taxi (buy ticket at the taxi counter) is about RM 100 for a normal car.
There ist the option of renting a car on a daily bases if you can cope with the Malaysian driving habits.
To get to town (3 km) take a bus or taxi.
To get an impression of PD we recommend to take a taxi tour covering PD town, museum Kota Lukut, light house, Blue Lagoon and the beach area at Telok Kemang, the center of tourism (swimming).
Another day trip may take you to Malacca or Kuala Lumpur. To avoid overcharging by taxi drivers we offer fixed rates. Perhaps some tours I will even accompany myself.
For the more adventurous ones we offer a jungle trekking tour to Gunung (mountain) Angsi. It is just 850 m high and takes about 5 hours.
PD – to take a break - or the starting point to discover South East Asia at exceptionally reasonable flight rates (Air Asia, Malaysian Airlines, Malindo Air)!
