** GUEST ACCESS **
Guests will stay in the single room and will have access to the bathroom and to the living room, both shared with the two of us.
The kitchen is not for the guests to cook, but we provide a free breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, almond milk, bread, home made jam, tea and fresh home made juices.
? We're also cooking every night a delicious meal for ourselves and guests are more than welcome to join us for the meal for a 10 euros fees. It'll be a pleasure for us to share our table with you.
All our food is vegan-friendly.
? We are very "foodie people" and we really care about the origin of our food: all the food served in our house is mostly organic and always of the highest quality, when possible it comes from our families gardens or from the local farmer market. Food is as much as possible seasonal. We make traditional italian recipes as well as some international dishes.
The washing machine is available for guests use, if needed.
** OUR NEIGHBORHOOD **
Gargagnago is a quiet, small village and it's part of the town called Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. The village has a lot of wine yards and is home to the world's famous Amarone wine. Our house is just in the square of this typical small italian village, where there's a cafe' and a church.
You can discover the stunning surrounding area through a maze of tiny roads and trails that connect the small old villages, or tasting good wine in one the wineries of the area. There are a number of great restaurants, pizzerie, etc, where you can taste amazing good food and wine and, in summer, eat outside and enjoy breathtaking views of Garda's lake from the top of a hill. Most of the restaurants are reachable by car, not many are at walking distance. A grocery store is located ten minutes walk down the road.
This location is the perfect starting point to discover both Verona and Garda lake. It's also great to reach the mountain area of Lessinia and of the Dolomites. Venice is 1.5 hours by train from Verona station.
Beside visiting and sight seeing, there a number of activities that is possible to do in different seasons of the year: cycling, hiking, canoeing, amusement/adventure parks, water parks, outdoor or indoor thermal parks, wine tasting, old "villas" visiting...
If you have a car, and feel like exploring the surroundings, some interesting locations in the nearby include: Parco Sigurta', Borghetto sul Mincio, Mantova, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, Parco di Molina, Ponte Veja, Castello di Soave...
