The apartment, restored in 2009 and tastefully furnished, is distinguished by beamed ceilings which create a cosy and welcoming ambiance. From its windows you can enjoy the panorama of a different Venice, a quiet city which is not crowded with tourists, and which is characterised by canals and bell-towers that peep out over the rooftops.

The apartment is made up of two double rooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds that can be pulled together), a large bathroom with bathtub and shower, a living room and a large kitchen. In the living room there is also a pullout sofa, which is big enough for two people.

The atmosphere of the house is that of traditional Venetian houses, with a bohemian touch, given by the fact that it is an attic, with a small private courtyard.

In furnishing and organising the apartment we have tried to make it as comfortable and pleasant as possible, with all the modern conveniences, without, however, altering the particular features of the traditional Venetian architecture.

The apartment has satellite television, hi-fi, air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven with grill, washing-up machine, and domestic appliances for preparing breakfast.

The bathroom has shower, hair-dryer, soap.

Heating, water, lighting are included in the price.

Final cleaning are not included in the price.

The apartment is located in a recently restored traditional two-storey building, facing onto the Rio de l’Avogaria canal, which belongs to the well known area of Santa Margherita and San Barnaba (and the lively Calle Lunga S. Barnaba), frequented by locals and young people. This area is famous for it outdoor cafes and restaurants and for its authentic atmosphere. The area is also close to the most traditional Venetian promenade, that of the Zattere which runs along the Giudecca Canal.

The area offers all types of facilities: pharmacies, banks, post-offices, supermarkets, shops and local markets.

From an artistic point of view it offers the following attractions: the church of San Nicolo dei Mendicoli, the Church and the “Scuola” dei Carmini (Tiepolo, Lotto, Cima ecc.); moreover it is close to Cà Rezzonico Museum (18th Century Venice), Accademia Gallery, Palazzo Grassi, the Guggenheim Museum, and many other artistic locations within a few minutes walk (Chiesa dei Frari –Titian and Bellini-, “Scuola” di San Rocco –Tintoretto-, San Sebastiano - Veronese-, etc.)

FYI: 50 euro "extra service" fee refers to final cleaning cost.
