THE FAUCET - COOL DESIGN APARTMENT
INTRODUCTORY OFFER, LOW PRICE FOR THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS!
The perfect contemporary design spot for the traveller who doesn't want any neighbours. If you're the typical IKEA person, don't bother reading this offer any further. However, if you desire something unique, comfortable and fully equipped in the historical, quiet part of the city still close to downtown, allow me to offer my home for your stay.
A fully equipped design apartment created by some of Budapest's top newcomer interior designers at 81Font (responsible for the design of the city's top clubs and bars for the past three years), with entrance directly from the street on the ground floor (no problem with neighbours -which is quite a bonus here, belive me, and also means no walking up and down on staircases). House was built around the 1910s, and is located in the heart of the quiet Buda side, on Castle hill, a stone's throw away from the most beautiful lookout point the city has to offer: the famous Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church located in the Castle. This area of the 1st District is considered one of the most romantic parts of BP, with stairs going up and down on Castle hill, the neighborhood has the richest history of some of the most famous literateurs of the city, similar to the fashionable old city parts of Barcelona, or Rome. The apartment is called The Faucet because the bathroom has a stunning bath with a beautiful copper faucet, both more than 100 years old!
Although located on the Buda side, it is perfectly suited for easy and quick access to transport to the other side: either via the longest and most important bus line of the city: BUS nr.5 (only one block away, covering the entire city with its route), or via the metro (subway) station of Déli Pályaudvar (only two blocks away across a lovely park - this metro station is also the Southern Train Station, connecting the city with "Hungary's Sea" Lake Balaton's most popular travel spot: the party city of Siófok and the famous Balaton Sound Festival).
Without talking rudely about other available apartments, I have noticed that everybody seems to write that all helpful places are really really close to the apartment. Well...A small convenience store is literally 10meters (30 feet) from your door, open from 7am until 5pm. A cafeteria/non-stop store (not familiar to a lot of people around the world, and not to be mistaken with a 7/11, this one really is open 24/7) is also only two blocks away, right next to the entrance of the famous Budapest Tunnel. In the store you'll find a buffet -also open 24/7- which is quite useful if you're the type that arrives home some time around dawn... :)
Pharmacy, several banks with ATMs and a post office are also located within two blocks, a non-stop pharmacy and Buda's largest shopping mall "Mammut" is 4 blocks away. One of the City's biggest parks is also just a block away if you wish to jog, or walk the dog, or just have walk in green surroundings.
Parking is not free in the street, but there is a staircase gpoind down one street where you will find free parking too!
Apartment is fully equipped with quality furniture, bed linen and towels, umbrellas, bathroom equipment, and modern machinery, HD TV and DVD player, high-speed WIFI connection, both a washing and a dishwashing machine, fully equipped kitchen, a water cooler machine with no extra fee, and an easy-to-use Lavazza coffee machine (with free Italian coffee!) so you don't have to worry about thirst adn energy, plus an alarm and security system for the safety of you and your belongings. I also provide a cell phone with a Hungarian number, so you can reach me anytime you want, and your new friends will be able to call you too.
Although the apartment is relatively small, it can accomodate up to 6 persons: with 2 separate bedrooms with 2 double beds for 4 in the loft area above the kitchen and a rather large bathroom (equipped with a bidet - not too common over here) and a pull-out sofa on the ground floor that also fits 2.
Those who stay for more than a week are in for domestic little surprises in the refrigerator, and are also getting a coupon for a free quality Budapest T-shirt from my friends at the famous urban clothing store BP Shop, and a handmade Mylo Pillow - a sleeping eye-pillow filled with lavender for perfect relaxation.
I can also help you with arranging the airport transfer on arrival and departure, with city tours, and providing useful information on the pros and cons of the city. And being a performer as a rapper/music producer/dj/spoken word artist I can also introduce you to Budapest nightlife, to make sure you don't get ripped off but at the same time you experience what is usually not written in guide books, not even Lonely Planet :)
As they say: home is where your heart is. I've put my heart in this apartment and I am here to share my home with you. This apartment was not made with cheap, typical ikea stuff like
