Located minutes away from Kolonaki square and Syntagma, our apartment is in a very safe, residential building, moments from museums, fashionable bar-restaurants, stores and amenities. It offers a unique stay in Athens' unique Kolonaki district!!

Our apartment is on the first floor of quiet residential family building with few apartments - it is in excellent condition with high ceilings, wooden floors, am ultra clean bathroom and a small but very functional kitchen. The apartment also offers a very sweet little bedroom balcony, ideal for breakfast or dinner for two.

Its location is superb - moments away from the Benaki Museum (inside a preserved neoclassical manor house) and the Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art which are two of the finest private collections in the country.

Two smaller museums to be found in Kolonaki are the Museum of the History of Greek Costume and the Theater Museum, both highly specialized in their respective areas. A walk across our street from Vasilissis Sofias Avenue are the Byzantine Museum, and the War Museum of Athens.

The apartment is on Alopekis street - at the heart of Kolonaki and very near Kolonaki square. There are a plethora of available options for nightlife, including bars, ouzeries, and tavernas. Outdoor seating on pedestrian walks is typical, creating a lively atmosphere at night. The main Kolonaki Square is where the little column which the neighborhood was named for is located.

It is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Kolonaki also hosts 2 metro stations, Evengelismos ( 5minutes walk from the apartment) and Megaro Mousikis (a bit further away).

Kolonaki took its name from the old column (kolonaki) which stands in the middle of the square. Until the 1880’s it was a sparsely inhabited area with only few houses. It has lots of green areas and beautiful architecture with dominating neoclassic and modernistic buildings of high standards that give it an aristocratic character.

It is considered to be the “aristocratic” district of Athens with many expensive shops, popular coffee houses, busy modern bars and luxurious restaurants.
