The apartment is on the ground floor of a classic white stone building. In the front room inside you’ll find the kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with stove, refrgerator, micro wave, and all the pots, pans and dishes necessary. The dining table can accommodate 2-3 people and there is also a small additional work table. Two ancient restored sliding doors can be closed to separate the bedroom from the kitchen. The bedroom is equipped with a good quality Queen size bed, the television/DVD, a dresser and a closet. The bathroom is tiny with a shower and sink. Outside of your apartment in the common hallway you will find a washer/dryer unit for clothes to be shared by two apartments. Cable TV and WIFI internet is provided.

The Neighbourhood

This neighborhood features numerous spectacular parks, including the expansive Lafontaine park which is at a five minute walking distance. There you will find tennis courts, kids playgrounds, jogging tracks thru the woods, picnic tables, baseball fields and lots of space to practice any sports, a restaurant and an outdoor theater space with a full summer long schedule of mostly free entertainment. In the winter there is a skating rink on the lake and tobogganing areas. Laurier Park, Jeanne-Mance Park, Mount Royal Park and Jean Drapeau Park are all very easy access by bus, bike or on foot.

Getting around

Two steps away is Mont-Royal Avenue where you will find all possible stores, specialized shops and services necessary to daily life, without needing a car. Mont-Royal Métro station is a 10 minute walk away, numerous bus lines and a BIXI bike rental station are available at the corner. Downtown is 5 subway stops away, while Old Montreal and the Old Port are only three stops.
