This chalet looks lovely even as you are driving up to it from the road, but you won't discover its true uniqueness until you step from the living room onto the terrace and look out across the green hills. Or white hills of course, if you are staying here in winter. It is then that you realise just what a wonderful location this is, surrounded by nature. In nice weather you can enjoy your meals al fresco on the terrace. You can spend all day in the large, lovely garden. This accommodation offers plenty of comfort on the inside too. The owners have done their best to make you feel right at home, with a cosy and inviting ambience. Almost everything is situated on the ground floor, though the basement contains a washing machine and dryer, an oven and an extra bathroom. Though it's nice to simply stay home, you can also get out and explore the area's many daytrip options: the F1 race track, Plopsa Coo with Belgium's highest waterfall, kayaking on the Amblève, Spa with its springs and baths, the Remouchamps caves, the animal park in Theux, the Hoge Venen nature preserve with excellent hiking trails. And there is a playground just across the street.
