The locality of Steeg (1152 metres above sea level) is situated at the end of the Lechtal valley in Tyrol, directly on the 'Lech wild river', and consists of several small villages and hamlets. 10 km farther up you will find Warth am Arlberg with its top-rated Warth-Schröcken-Lech-Zürs ski area. Since the winter of 2013/2014 there has been a new connection, called the 'Auenfeldjet', which also makes it possible to ski the legendary 'Weissen Ring' from Warth-Schröcken and thus to reach the Lech-Zürs ski area. The ski bus leaves from near the house and will quickly take you to the wonderful Arlberg ski area. In winter, visitors to Steeg can enjoy a lighted toboggan run, a skating rink and a network of cross-country ski trails totalling 100 km. Of course you can also explore the area on snowshoes. The charming holiday house (which you will have all to yourself) sleeps 12 people and is centrally located on the B 198. It has 2 lovely modern kitchens, a large living/dining room and 6 bedrooms with 5 showers and 2 toilets. All the ingredients for a delightful winter holiday with plenty of privacy.
