Within short driving distance of around 30 minutes there are other charming places of interest like Città Sant'Angelo and Penne – with its Lake Reserve – both offering breath taking views and stunning architecture.
The Adriatic Sea – the beach resort of Pineto – is at about 26 km, as well as the motorway A14 Bologna-Bari. The Gran Sasso with its several excellent ski-resorts and the National Park is an hour drive away.
