At only 35 minutes from the house, you can arrive at "ROCCARASO" the largest ski area in central of Italy. It is located at 1,250 metres above sea level on the 'Altopiani Maggiori' plateaus, between two large protected areas of the Abruzzo National Park and the Majella National Park. Aremogna, Pizzalto and Montepratello, are part of the ski basin and the resort offers 28 very modern ski lift facilities, 2 cable-cars and about 100 kilometres of ski slopes, perfectly kept and served by the largest and up-to-date snowmaking equipment.

Colledimacine is one of the city decorated for Valor for the War of Liberation because he was awarded the Military Cross for Valor for the sacrifices of its people and its activities in the partisan struggle during the Second World War.
